Alfa Romeo Glorica Concept

The students of the Instituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy, got to show off their self-created Alfa Romeo Gloria concept at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The life-sized mock-up was announced before the show and shown in a series of concept images, but this is the first time it has ever been shown live.

The 20 students who designed the Alfa Romeo Gloria concept were tasked with creating a four-door sedan that would be powered by either a turbo V6 or a turbo V8 engine. The end result is one of sheer beauty; the car is distinctly European in its design and features future-forward styling. The Alfa Romeo Gloria concept will remain a concept for the time being, but the Italian car company is planning a return to the U.S. in the form of the two-door 4C, so perhaps a four-door sedan isn’t entirely out of the question.
